Donald Trump tweeted that President Obama had him wiretapped during the election campaign.
Now the House of Representatives has held hearings and the FBI director said, in effect, that was not true.
OK, so the tweet was a mistake, own up to it and apologize to President Obama. Case closed.
But
now, Trump is not admitting anything. In my mind, this now clearly
moves from a possible mistaken tweet to a lie. This is denying reality
and pressing on with a lie.
This is far more serious
than President Clinton's lies about sex but he was Impeached for lying.
This is one president calling another president a criminal. When does
(did?) this become impeachable? How long will the House put up with
stuff like this? How long?
Call your Representative and ask her or him - how long?
