Yes, the states of Washington and Colorado have done the seemingly impossible. Like Schrodinger's Cat that is both alive AND dead until you look in the box to make it become one or the other, the state's marijuana laws that legalize pot possession run afoul of the federal laws that still make it illegal.
So possessing pot in Washington and Colorado is both legal AND illegal. And like the Cat, you won't know know if marijuana is legal or not until you smoke it and get busted, or not.

One Question for undecided voters
It is election eve and for you undecided voters I have created a single question that you can use to decide who to vote for president.
Here it is:
Do you earn $250,000 or more each year?
If you answered YES then vote for Mitt Romney
If you answered NO then vote for Barack Obama
If you vote the other way then you are voting against your own financial well being.
